FineHash — side-by-side comparison

FineHash is a small TypeScript/JavaScript library that turns an image into a placeholder hash. Source and format details on GitHub.

The columns below mirror the ThumbHash demo — ThumbHash, BlurHash, and a "Teeny" WebP (an uber-compressed WebP) — with FineHash added alongside. Drag/drop or Upload your own images to compare.

Note: WebKit-based browsers (Safari) can't encode WebP from a canvas, so the "Teeny" WebP column falls back to the slim-webp-enc library there instead of the native pathway used elsewhere — expect slight differences versus browsers with native support (e.g. Chromium/Firefox).
